As Product Manager Ground Mount, responsible for the Ground Mount product, the world’s leading utility scale PV design tool. Leading a team of developers and QA to ensure a great user experience. Engaging suppliers to integrate the latest PV tech in the Ground Mount tool.

Leading team of electrical engineers in the design and certification of renewable energy projects. Setting expectations for installation quality through management of internal standards. Development of ground mount, carport and monitoring solutions and applications.

Responsible for evaluation, development and design of new projects in international markets. Technical DD of existing projects from external developers. Understand and communicate the risks to international team members, and work together to mitigate. Establish Scope of Works and lead preliminary contact with local contractors and suppliers. Support agents in international markets with technical knowledge and design capabilities. Maintain awareness of deliverables and allocate resource accordingly. Areas of responsibility in UK, Japan and Australia. Reporting to Head of Engineering.

Providing the following services: - site assessment - project development - solar plant design, modelling and testing - irradiation resource assessment and yield study - contractual, permitting and technology review To clients such as: - OST Energy - Sun and Soil - Axiom Energy

Lead a team of Design Engineers in the specification, design and installation of Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Wind Turbine systems. Provide support in site surveys, initial project proposals, technology assessment, building integration, yield calculations and client liaison. Deal with Architects, M&E Engineers, Contractors, Project Managers and Suppliers on a daily basis. React rapidly to design and quote requests from clients in Spain, Italy, France and Ireland offices. Use Autodesk AutoCAD software suite to design layouts, electrical schematics, and structural drawings. Size and design systems based on project requirements using energy calculation tools. Involved in all stages of project development and implementation. Active in initial project meetings, order negotiation, and on-site training and works meetings. Active with a wide variety of suppliers and contacts in the Renewable Energy Industry.

Worked in bar to supplement income whilst at uni and searching for a job. Supervised Garden Bar during busiest summer on record. Managed stock, personnel and customer problems at the bar front. Acquired customer service and personnel management skills.

Supervised deep maintenance of light aircraft. Implemented Cessna's aircraft maintenance guidelines. Learned legal framework for the implementation of maintenance procedures. Gained better understanding of the practical side of aircraft maintenance. Worked on installation and application of updated logistics software.

Completed first two years of Aerospace Engineering degree with Air Force sponsorship. Undertook lessons in Defence Force Law, Leadership, Time Management, Field Training, Senior First Aid and Drill. Increased time management skills and self development. Learned how to work with others in a high pressure team environment. Represented the Defence Force at the 2001 Australian University Games in water polo.
