About

Most drug programs don’t fail because of bad science. They fail because of avoidable delays, misaligned priorities, and decisions that move slower than the biology demands. I’ve spent 15+ years solving that problem, from the analytical labs at GSK, to building operations on the ground in India, to leading global programs at various pharmaceutical companies across oncology, virology, and inflammation. That journey gave me something most program managers don’t have: I’ve seen drug development from the bench, from the business, and from the boardroom. I lead cross-functional program management across complex global portfolios, driving IND-to-BLA execution, governing stage-gate decisions, and building the forecasting and scenario planning infrastructure that keeps programs on track when the unexpected hits. In my rotation through Gilead’s CEO office, I gained rare visibility into how enterprise-level portfolio trade-offs actually get made and brought that strategic lens back into how I run programs. The results have been tangible: >95% on-time governance rate, <5% IDP timeline variance, and $5M–$12M in avoided downstream delays through early risk identification and proactive decision-making. I believe the biggest unlock in pharmaceutical program management isn’t a new methodology, it’s intelligence. AI-augmented workflows, predictive analytics, and real-time portfolio visibility are no longer aspirational. I hold a CPMAI certification and actively help in building automation systems that compress cycle times and sharpen forecast accuracy. I’m particularly interested in how AI can de-risk clinical programs, accelerate regulatory submissions, and give development teams the decision support they need before a timeline slips — not after. What I stand for: → Scientific rigor as a foundation for strategic thinking → Transparency in portfolio trade-offs, even when the answer is uncomfortable → Building PM functions that are proactive engines of value, not reactive schedulers.
