Leading the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa region for Illumina, a global genomics company. This dynamic and evolving region includes countries such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Dubai, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, South Africa and CIS countries. Together we are driven by our mission to improve human health and the natural environment by unlocking the power of the genome.

Responsible for leading and developing the commercial organization (sales, marketing, service & support, customer service, operations) within the region spanning Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand and India. Includes leading strategic plan by geography, owning revenue attainment and execution of all commercial functions.

Responsible for sales for the Asia Pacific Region, overseeing our 5 geographical districts for orders, shipments and revenue.

Responsible for overall marketing strategy and implementation in SEA, India, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand. To act as the key driver of all marketing programs and activities in the region. To be the voice of our customers, markets and the field back to the Illumina corporation. Have built the marketing team from a sole position (myself) to a team of 5 including a sales specialist and product marketing function.
