This job required me to register new NHS patients to a specialised computer database. I was trusted with confidential patient information and their records as well as organising their personal records into the database, listing their major afflictions and past medical history. I also worked in a Personal Assistant capacity, writing referral letter to other GP practices and hospitals as well as taking up some reception work when it was needed.

This position required me to help organise shopfloor and warehouse stock, marking down stock and maintain a high standard of customer service with shoppers.

My main role at Servis UK was to answer telephone enquiries made by customers. This usually involved booking and cancelling repair appointments and helping customers with home appliance maintenance. I also dealt with customers online and helped to maintain a computerised database of customer information.

Working on a 1:1 basis with the most vulnerable students in the Academy, my job as an Academic Coach was to raise the attainment and aspirations of many SEN students across a variety of subjects. I supported full-time in classrooms and team-taught in smaller, specialist SEN classes for literacy and mathematics. I also implemented a PiXL marksheet across departments to aid marking work that fell below NC level 3.

Working in one of the best performing schools in the country, my first year was a learning curve involving strengthening my subject knowledge and understanding of the OCR SHP GCSE History B specification. In my second year, I mentored a student teacher through the esteemed West Midlands Consortium whilst also taking charge of KS4 History as a maternity cover post.

My primary job role at the RSA Academy is delivering a KS3 project-based learning curriculum named REAL Projects for 15 hours per week. I also deliver a KS3 history session once a week for 1 1/2 hours a week. Prior to this, I also taught a KS3 history group and a KS4 GCSE Citizenship class 4 times a week. I have taught these sessions whilst in a demanding 'Requires Improvement' environment.

Studied BA History on a three-year course. I undertook modules that ranged from various historical periods. However, I specialised particularly in local history by studying the transformation of Leicester as a city during the 20th century and completing my dissertation on the coal mining industry of my hometown, Tipton. Amongst these modules, I also studied general employability skills, culminating in the receipt of The Leicester Award for Employability. Activities and Societies: History FC, Futsal Society
