I am a Mechanical Engineer specialized in prosthetic devices and wearable technologies, experienced in following the design process of a product along al the phases of development, from concept and design to prototyping, testing and final documentation. During my career, I have built a strong background in mechanical engineering and multidisciplinar experiences, across robotics, industrial automations, medical device and research. working on different projects I collected experience in design with composite materials and FEA simulations. I worked in multidisciplicary and multicultural environments, allowing me to absorb expertise in biomechanics, electronic and control system.My goal is to apply my skills to projects that can benefit a multitude of people and improve their quality of life.

At Gogoa, I work as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the R&D team, contributing to the design and development of exoskeleton systems for medical, industrial, and civil applications. My role covers the full product lifecycle, from concept design and prototyping to testing, validation, and technical documentation. I also coordinate with international teams and external partners, supporting project planning, manufacturing processes, and product delivery to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance.

Prosthesis Mechanical Designer - PHD Candidate

Design and Development of a powered knee unit of a trans-femoral prosthesis for the European Project MyLeg (www.myleg.eu). In this project I've been directly involved in all the stages of the design, development, and testing of a powered knee joint unit: Project Planning, Analysis of the requirements, Conceptual design, Mechanical Design using CAD software and FEA simulations, Technical Drawings, Manufacturing process, Integration with sensors and electronics, Prototyping, 3D printing, Manual Assembly, Test Setup design, Design Validation, ISO standard analysis and compliancy, Clinical Evaluation, Movement Science Application, Patient comunication and customization. Together with the research I mentored 13 students during their Master project, providing support in project planning, fostering teamwork, defining research problems, use of specialised software, refining theses, and more.

Prosthesis Mechanical Designer - MSc thesis

Study and design different solution about the integration of carbon and/or glass fiber reinforced composite material in an ankle joint and study strength and effectiveness of the different solutions.
