Justin Esquivel, CEO & Geneticist, of Green Luster Phenos™ has been an influencer and leader in the cannabis industry for fifteen (16) years now. Esquivel was the headmaster grower and lead geneticist of an indoor commercial-scale cultivation operation in 2012. Justin also had his hands in the facility development of two more commercial size operations in 2012-2013 in the medical cannabis sector. Esquivel brings standard operating procedures to a gold standard. Justin has been collecting, storing, breeding & sampling genetics from all over the world most of his life, allowing his genetics company the ability to bring an entirely new genome to market! A genome that is one of a kind and scarce. Justin specializes and with great passion, in creating superlative genetics that provide growers predictability and uniformity. He is known for his plasticity breeding which provides pest & bacteria resistant varieties for growers. Esquivel is an experienced cannabis tissue culture tech and has many unique media & hormone formulas specific to cannabis. Green Luster Phenos ™ has a unique methodology of selective homozygous breeding and cannabis specific stratification. GLP has also developed a plant tissue armor for our cultured tissue program as well as our own tailored MS Media specific to phase of tissue and cannabis. Esquivel aided in the development of over 100 cannabis facilities, 78 of which operate commercial canopies. When he’s not in one of his breeding chambers or out in the field consulting, he’s at home with his lovely wife and beautiful daughters.
