*  Manage a department of engineers responsible for the research and development of new revenue producing technologies. *  Administer both capital expenditure as well as operating budgets. *  Provide regular written and verbal progress reports to executive management. *  Address employee needs such as hiring, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and the setting and tracking of goals. *  Assess and determine new technology initiatives.

*  Primary role of research and development engineer, with secondary role of determining and developing methods to improve existing technologies. *  Technologies employed included satellite broadcasting, IP networking, audio and video components, computer hardware, custom script development, and encryption solutions. *  Developed an advertising and live event broadcast topologies in a team environment. *  Acted as an escalation point for advanced network and system issues.

*  Implemented an operations center for the management of over 500 remote network devices. *  Performed management duties for full time staff responsible for maintenance of revenue generating network. *  Provided IT services for local and remote offices. Maintained all user and server machines. Configured and secured network resources. *  Worked with upper management to determine new business initiatives and strategic approaches.

*  Assisted in development of network operations center for both internal support as well as customer support purposes. *  Help desk administrator that was responsible for all server/client machines, internet circuits, phones, and software applications. *  Procured, configured, and supported new hardware and software platforms for internal and external clients. *  Took part in ongoing network development and configuration. *  Worked on site with customers developing network and software solutions customized to their specific business needs.
