Design, Development and Control of a special end-effector prototype for robotic surgery.

Acted as first responder for root-cause analysis of multiple critical system issues over the past year, e.g., camera condensation, magnetometer interference, GPS jamming. Developed software for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing to improve validation coverage and reliability. Designed and implemented jitter and jello detection for gimbal-camera assemblies, defining objective performance metrics and enabling repeatable validation. Built automation tools to generate and maintain Confluence documentation for critical systems. Improved our flight-log analysis software further, with a strong focus on automation to eliminate manual review. Performed in-depth flight-log analysis and automation for customer systems approved for flight outside standard specification limits. Led a large-scale log-crawling analysis spanning thousands of flight hours, correlating flight telemetry, GPS-derived motion, and historical weather data to determine whether emergency landings aligned with independently reported wind conditions at the time of flight.

Closely working with all of our teams to improve the reliability of our product. Focused on data-analysis as well as test-bench improvements for our contract manufacturer. Introduced First Pass Yield metrics, conducted detailed error-analysis, and identified bottlenecks. Ensuring smooth testing operations of our product while analysing thousands of test-logs to implement reliable anomaly and outlier detection of our telemetry data during outdoor flight tests. Optimising testing software through data-driven decisions to reduce system test duration while maintaining quality. Designed and built a prototype to automate magnetometer calibrations for our Kites. Developed a proof of concept for software based image stabilization using open-source libraries such as opencv in python and C++. Introduced an automated procedure to produce a weekly report on all flights with emergency landings due to, e.g., high wind scenarios.

Worked closely with firmware engineers to ensure rigorous testing of development and production systems before shipment. Introduced software scripts, primarily using Python, to further analyze existing telemetry for anomalies. Used CAD to design, 3D print, and machine improvements to pre-existing testing equipment. Helped tune PID parameters of the camera-gimbal system and proposed solutions to enhance image stability.

Introduced and instructed students to different types of machinery such as laser-cutters, resin- and FDM printers, wood-working machinery, etc. Assisted projects in various ways from evaluating and improving printability of 3D models using Autodesk Fusion, to setting up microcontrollers.

After completing my „7. Stufentest“ and while attending the „Begabtenförderung“ of the Konservatorium Zurich I‘ve played several concerts, participated in multiple competitions, and composed my own pieces. I‘ve had the opportunity to learn and play alongside great teachers and professors.
