CSWIP Certified 3.1 Welding Inspector. Some day-to-day activities I do are such as undertaking surveys prior classification/client inspections in accidence with codes and standards. Ensuring welder codes are up to date and correct with W.P.S. and are being utilised. Visual N.D.E is also a key part to my daily duties. Working along side standards such as 1090 and 9001 Worked on jobs for clients such as: NERC, Smoulders, StatOil, Nuvia, Roll Royce, Siemens, Sulzer, Queen Elizabeth II Aircraft carrier / Prince of Wales Aircraft Carrier, Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels, Ferry and Freight Ships and more Types of welding processes I am involved with include M.I.G, M.A.G, T.I.G and M.M.A. For materials like: Carbon steel, Stainless steel and Aluminium. Also welding different thickness of steels ranging from 3-50mm, High structural welds on fuel tanks, Outter shell and more. As a coded welder my codes currently for MAG-flux cord. Also I can use TIG and MMA welding processes
