Gábor BODICSI
Deputy Head of Division
About
Among the capital and county police departments, there are two other units with nationwide jurisdiction: the National Bureau of Investigation (Nemzeti Nyomozó Iroda) for fighting serious crimes, and the highly militarized Rapid Response and Special Police Services (Készenléti Rendőrség) for strengthening local police forces and perform SWAT operations. I’m a criminal investigator (and the Deputy Head of the Division) at the Hungarian National Bureau of Investigation and responsible mainly for investigating fraud cases and money laundering in the field of asset recovery and asset confiscations. Because of my daily activity cooperating with other national and foreign law enforcement Agencies, I’m also able to exchange new modus operandi in criminal cases. As an EMPACT MTCN-I national expert I responsible for all kinds of asset-related OAPs which related to tackling OCGs and OCNs.
