Furkan Özkaya

Hello! I’m Furkan Özkaya, a graduate of the Computer Engineering Department at Manisa Celal Bayar University. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively participated in projects that push the boundaries of technology and innovation, allowing me to continuously develop both my technical and professional skill set. Experience & Projects: VR Application & Game Development: I gained hands-on experience in VR applications, game development, and data science while working at Extensa Digital Solutions, where I contributed to multiple immersive and technology-driven projects. Leadership & Management: I served as the Vice President of the Game Design and Developers Community, where I developed strong skills in team leadership, coordination, and project organization. AI & Finance Projects: I worked on artificial intelligence and finance-focused projects for TEKNOFEST, gaining experience in integrating AI solutions with real-world financial use cases. Academic Research: As an undergraduate scholarship holder in the TÜBİTAK 3501 EVRECA project, I actively took part in research and development processes, strengthening my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Game Development (Vellichor Games): I played an active role in the development of Ticking Together, a co-op parkour game developed by Vellichor Games, contributing to the design and implementation of multiplayer networking systems, core gameplay mechanics, and animation systems. Graduation Project: I am currently working on a language learning application that integrates artificial intelligence and virtual reality through customizable scenarios. This project aims to make language learning more interactive, immersive, and personalized.
