About
I am a gender and development specialist, storyteller, and peace practitioner with over seven years of multi-sectoral experience at the intersection of gender equity, human security, and advocacy. My academic foundation, rooted in History, Peace and Conflict Studies, and a Ph.D. in Gender and Development Studies, shapes my intersectional approach to addressing systemic inequalities. I specialise in feminist movement-building, policy advocacy, and capacity strengthening for rightsholder-led organisations. As the Community of Action Facilitator for the We Lead Project in Nigeria, I lead a national coalition of 12 organisations working to advance the sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of historically excluded groups – young women and girls living with HIV, with disabilities, affected by displacement, and those identifying as sexual minorities. My work actively bridges grassroots organising with high-level policy dialogue, ensuring that evidence and lived realities inform sustainable development, peacebuilding, and accountability. I am passionate about shaping narratives that drive social transformation – whether through research, policy influence, or creative storytelling. I bring a unique blend of strategic coordination, advocacy, and communication expertise, with a deep commitment to justice, inclusion, and human dignity.
