Technology leadership, at its best, is mostly invisible. The system that just works. The security breach that never happened. The migration no one had to think about because it went smoothly. I've spent 15 years building that kind of quiet infrastructure, and learning that the hard part is never the technology.My career has run through two very different worlds within the last decade. Eight years at S&P Global Market Intelligence taught me what scale actually means, global DevOps teams, enterprise data platforms, operations across multiple jurisdictions, and the discipline of keeping critical systems running while simultaneously modernizing them. You develop a certain respect for complexity when the stakes are that high.At Penta Group, the challenge is different. I'm the senior technology executive across a multi-entity, global professional services firm, reporting to the CEO. The work is less about managing scale and more about making technology a genuine competitive advantage for a firm where trust, security, and continuity are the product, while considering how to scale. I've consolidated infrastructure across business entities, built a Zero Trust cybersecurity architecture from scratch, driven AI automation into the workflow, and led the technology side of M&A activity. But the part I find most interesting is the translation work, taking what IT is doing and making it legible to executive leadership, to clients, to the board.
