As the Head of Procurement, I am responsible for aligning supply chain operations with commercial and financial goals at Smeg UK. I play a key role in monitoring KPIs and providing regular updates to senior stakeholders. Additionally, I oversee the development of data intelligence to drive stronger efficiencies throughout the entire operational system. To achieve department goals effectively, I conduct regular performance reviews, engage in strong negotiations with suppliers and logistics haulers, identify risks, and create effective mitigation plans. I collaborate closely with key stakeholders to determine the best and most cost-effective solutions for managing the product life cycle.

As the Demand Planning Manager at Smeg UK, I led a team focused on three primary goals. Firstly, I developed and maintained an accurate sales forecast for the UK and IRE business. Secondly, I managed the logistics of moving goods from the production point to the UK warehouse. Lastly, I determined the optimal level of stock to minimize logistics costs. Through effective forecasting, strategic inventory management, and coordination with cross-functional teams, I successfully optimized supply chain operations and ensured smooth product availability.

Initially, I joined Smeg UK as a Market and Business Analyst, where I supported general marketing activities such as promotional campaigns and trade event organization. Over time, my role evolved to focus on developing market analysis and forecasts to support the sales strategy. By gathering and analyzing market data, I provided valuable insights to drive informed decision-making and shape effective marketing and sales initiatives.

I worked in the marketing department of a major Italian bank where I was responsible for both commercial and customer care activities.

Two months internship in TeikosLab International (consulting group) where I collaborated in preparing reports and analysis on foreign markets.

Master’s Degree in International Management, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. Thesis on the international market selection process.

“Doing Business in China - Study Tour”, one-month period in Tongji University (Shanghai) composed by both frontal classes and company visits. At the end of the period, I took an exam valid for my university career.
