As Project Manager previously within the R&D and actually within Open Innovation areas, I have been leading strategic initiatives focused on the co-development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies in the energy sector. 🚀 Open Innovation – From Need Collection to PoC Managed Open Innovation projects end-to-end: from need identification and external scouting to Proof of Concept (PoC) development across Gas Distribution, Water Distribution, and Energy Efficiency sectors. 🔬 R&D – Scale-up & Roll-out Led the scale-up and roll-out of innovation and digitalization projects, with a specific focus on gas leak detection systems. Activities included coordination across technical teams, pilot testing, industrialization, and integration into operational workflows.

• Led cross-functional teams (20+ people) to deliver a data-driven digital MVP. • Applied Agile and MVP approaches to accelerate experimentation and iterative value creation. • Developed an AI predictive maintenance algorithm for smart meters and an optimized field orchestration system.

•Led a pilot project to expand the Italgas SAC's capabilities from gas to water utilities, guaranteeing seamless system integration and functionality in a new sector. •Member of the team for the commercialization project of the Smart Asset Center (SAC) owned by Italgas, aimed at external customers, which led to the creation of a first PoC. •Member of the testing team for Nimbus, the world’s most innovative smart gas meter, ensuring compliance with over 100 regulatory and innovation performance standards.

Developed, and deployed data pipelines within the new data mesh paradigm using the Azure ecosystem. Leveraging tools such as DataBricks, Synapse, Azure Data Lake Store, and Azure Data Factory, helping the client unlock new business opportunities

2 months of training and 3 months of Training on the Job, focused on topics related to data management and engineering, including tools like SQL, Python, Scala, Spark, and their application in cloud data environment (Azure).

Main subjects: big data, ICT system management, data analytics, machine learning algorithms, sensors design, interconnection of complex networks and system, information security. Thesis: Data quality and observability in the context of Data mesh.
