Onsale’s initial public offering was in April 1997 and it acquired Egghead.com in November 1999. As CTO, I was responsible for the company’s software development and website operations.

Software Partners developed software products for online services and for retail distribution, including such innovative products as TimeSheet Professional and StreetSmart and e.Schwab for Charles Schwab and Company. I was responsible for all aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, engineering, business development, and administration.

Ambia was the leading developer of Adobe Acrobat Exchange plug-in software products. The company was acquired by Infodata Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: INFD) in July 1997. As the company’s founding CEO and Chairman, I was responsible for all aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, engineering, business development, and administration.

Teknowledge is artificial intelligence / expert systems software company. I led the development of the M.1 expert system tool, one of Teknowledge’s two commercially available software products. I also managed the product support group, which provided engineering support services to Teknowledge’s product customers and managed the field sales engineering group, which provided pre-sales support to prospective customers.
