Responsible for leading and overseeing the full operational execution of live events and high-profile experiences, ensuring seamless coordination across all event phases from pre-production planning to live event delivery. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans and workflows • Managing on-ground event operations and real-time execution • Coordinating with production, logistics, vendors, and support teams • Supervising crowd management, guest flow, and VIP operations • Leading operational teams and ensuring alignment across departments • Monitoring timelines, readiness, and operational performance • Managing risk assessment, contingency planning, and escalation procedures • Supporting backstage operations, technical coordination, and event logistics • Ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and guest experience throughout the event lifecycle Focused on delivering premium event experiences through operational excellence, strategic coordination, and proactive problem-solving in fast-paced live event environments.

Identified and resolved any issues that arose during the construction process. Supervised the installation of materials and equipment at construction sites. Collaborated with architects and other stakeholders to ensure that all design requirements were met. Established a safe working environment by developing and enforcing safety protocols.

Supervise set-up and strike of all ropes and posts and any signage for Ticket Holder queues • Work closely with the RSIFF Box Office staff and supervise Volunteers to ensure that they are conveying accurate information. • Implement procedures re Staff / Volunteer placement for each screening: queues, doors, Programmer and Filmmaker arrivals and dealing with latecomers • Check in with the RSIFF Box Office to see if any films have gone off sale (sold out) • Assist with crowd control and direct ticket buyers to the website or the Box Office on the Ground Floor • Maintain communications between Inside and Outside team: ticket sales, house open time and number of people in queue or lobby • Set up and supervise phone pouching if the screening requires it • Deal with security issues for special guests and supervise any area for media • Inform patrons of any film Ratings (R18, R15, R12, PG12, PG, G), especially if young children in the queue

Work to open the cinema on time and will receive the house from the Projectionist after any technical checks Provide customers with a clean, sate and secure environment Ensure seats are reserved for Juries, Filmmakers, Talent parties etc. Greet Programmers, film guests and possible translators Liaise with the Projectionist and any attending filmmaker to ensure that the screening presentation quality is what the filmmaker wants • Report the particulars of the screening: when the cinema opened, when the Intro started, etc
