I am an advocate in giving back to the community through Community Involvement Programmes and am the Co-founder of my Family’s non-profit Community & Charitable organization; Amat Family Charity Projects. We aspire to inspire other families and like-minded individuals in giving back to the by running programmes and activities from children in orphanages. Our aim is to promote human interaction by bringing volunteers from Singapore to have first hand experience in volunteer work and foster close bonds and ties which money cannot achieve. Since 2013, we have grown from doing infrastructure works for the homes to organizing fundraising activities.

Ensure timely issuance of Engineering drawings to meet production requirements Oversee the designers’ structural drawing progresses and assure compliance with Owner’s requirements Provide on-site technical support for the Operations team Review existing drawing designs for improvements in enhancing its methodology and constructability Oversee that Final drawings are ‘As Built’ and submitted through the Global Engineering Management System

Take lead in addressing site issues and offer cost effective practical solutions which minimizes rework Check, mark-up and review drawings done by Junior Designer Collaborate with other engineering sections to boost existing interfacing model processes to maximize safety and cost effectiveness Update vessel model using Aveva SM3D software for real time information and updates, crucial for interference checks  Tackle On-site issues real time which require interaction and input from Operations Team

My main duties as a junior designer is to draw and update structural drawings using Autocad. I developed an appreciation for structural members such as plates, I-beams, Bulkheads and its intended uses in design.I was placed under the guidance of a Senior designer who acted as my mentor. These are the responsibilities i was assigned during my Junior designer years. -Update and draw Structural drawings using AutoCAD software -Assist Senior Designer on changes to Structural drawings -Assist Senior Designer in troubleshooting site issues with Operations Team -Record site measurements and update drawings for ‘As-Built’ -Collaborate with other sections (Mech/Piping/NA/HVAC) on project progress and technical matters

Work with overseas Engineering offices in Bulgaria, India and China on technical matters such as structural drawings, interference checks, modelling updates etc. Ensure timely issuance of Engineering drawings to meet production schedules Correspond with Operations/Class/Vendors on technical and design issues namely on Fabrication Methodology, Structural Analysis and integration of third party equipment Provide Engineering solutions and design proposals to clients Liase with project management team and production team with regards to project progress
