CSD Engineer & Interface Cairo Monorail Project – Longest Monorail Line in the World Alstom – Cairo, Egypt May 2025 – Present • Coordinate interface requirements between Alstom systems and civil contractors across project scopes including Stations, Depots, and Mainlines. • Review and validate civil shop drawings to ensure proper integration of subsystem needs, avoiding clashes and ensuring constructability. • Prepare and revise Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Combined Services Drawings (CSDs), ensuring subsystem alignment with architectural and civil designs. • Collaborate with site teams to monitor interface implementation progress and resolve on-site engineering issues. • Assist in addressing comments from contractors and consultants related to E&M subsystem placement and alignments. • Contribute to civil-mechanical coordination, supporting proper layout of ducts, cable trays, and MEP works with civil infrastructure. • Engage in progress tracking using KPIs and provide interface status updates to project management. • Responsible for drawing, locating, and reviewing the Conductor Rail Wave Stopper drawings, ensuring compatibility and compliance with system requirements.

As a PWR Field Engineer for the Cairo Monorail project at Alstom, I contributed to the installation of conductor rail and associated components, ensuring that all activities adhere to stringent quality and safety standards. My role involves: • Installation Leadership: Managing subcontractors, ensuring they have the right tools, materials, and training to perform their work effectively. I proactively address any installation challenges to maintain safety, quality, and project progress. • Documentation and Planning: Supporting the preparation and review of installation documents, including method statements, plans, and test procedures, while ensuring the latest inputs from engineering and suppliers are used. • Progress Tracking: Monitoring installation progress, creating test reports, and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. I report regularly to Installation Leaders, highlighting any risks that could impact the project’s timeline or goals. • Quality Assurance: Ensuring suppliers and subcontractors comply with technical requirements, tracking Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and maintaining accurate testing records in Alstom’s designated tools. • Stakeholder Coordination: Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, installers, and team members to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project. • EHS Compliance: Implementing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards on-site, with support from the EHS team, ensuring all team members have the proper credentials and training to work safely. My focus is on optimizing installation processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the successful and timely delivery of the project, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the monorail system.

Graduated from the esteemed Egyptian Railway Academy (ERA) Master Expert Program (MEP) offered by Alstom. This intensive program provided me with comprehensive training in rolling stock technology, leadership, negotiation, project management, and various railway subsystems, including traction, EMC, signaling, power supply, control systems, interlocking, urban and mainline lines, Integrated Command & Control centers, installation, testing & commissioning, verification & validation, and contracts engineering.
