The CALYM Carnot institute is an academic research consortium that offers a unique R&D approach in lymphoma treatment and diagnosis spanning from new target identification to large international Phase III clinical trials and beyond. CALYM brings together 15 entities with complementary expertise in preclinical, translational and clinical lymphoma research: the Lymphoma Study Association (LYSA), a cooperative group, international leader of lymphoma research with 750 members within 130 centers in 4 countries, the Lymphoma Academic Research Organisation (LYSARC), a fully integrated academic clinical organisation - the largest in Europe in this field – and 13 public preclinical research teams of excellence in lymphoma based at universities and hospitals across France.

GLOBAL CARE Initiative is a French consortium of 5 non-profit Carnot research institutes. The members of the consortium are: - Pasteur MI, the infectious diseases division of the Institut Pasteur - Curie Cancer, a component of Institut Curie focused on cancers - Voir et Entendre, expert in vision and audition diseases and rehabilitation - ICM, the Brain and Spine Institute dedicated to CNS diseases - CALYM, the Consortium for the acceleration of innovation and its transfer to the field of Lymphoma These institutes represent the very best of of French research in human health and have joined to combine their efforts in fostering their international research partnerships with the industry and RTOs. My mission (based in San Francisco) is to seek for new and develop industrial partnerships in the West Coast of the US.

Worked on a 2 year research project at the University of Oklahoma in partnership with Vadovations, Inc. VADovations is a medical device company based in Oklahoma City developing its own RVAD (right ventricular assist device) to support patients with heart failure. The project aimed at studying the effects of these pumps on human blood from healthy donors. Microfluidics, flow cytometry and confocal microscopy were used to mimic and characterize different white blood cells functions and and specially neutrophil activation.

- Worked on providing information of the company to the customers. -Client intelligence, identify new leads. -Worked also with the feasibility and proposal's department: establish a dialogue with the investigators to identify investigation sites and their facilities, possible issues with the trial's protocol... -Gained experience in working in accordance to GCP-ICH, SOPs.

Work in the team "Hydraulic architecture and drought resistance of trees" as a research assistant. Used of bio-molecular tools, microbiology and physiology.
