Hot Strip Mill Predictive Maintenance/Reliability and Hot Skin Pass Mill Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Led mechanical installation of the down-coiler and IMS system during HSM construction phase. • Performed mechanical inspection and acceptance of mill equipment throughout installation. • Designed lubrication system piping layout and supported equipment placement. • Commissioned the mill lubrication system, including flushing and pickling operations. • Commissioned the complete hydraulic system of the Hot Strip Mill. • Responsible for planning, procurement, and stock control of all mill spare parts. • Performed predictive maintenance activities: vibration analysis, ultrasound, thermal inspection, oil analysis, motion amplification (RDI). • Responsible for maintenance of descaler, grease units, hydraulic cylinders, and auxiliary mechanical systems. • Mechanical & hydraulic lead engineer for the installation and commissioning of the Hot Skin Pass Mill (HSPM). • After commissioning, managed all maintenance operations of the HSPM line, including corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, annual shutdown maintenance, spare parts stock management. • and maintenance planning. • Coordinator for firefighting and detection systems for HSM, Melt Shop, and auxiliary plants. • Occupational Health & Safety representative of HSM & HSPM. • Prepared annual/monthly maintenance budgets and controlled maintenance-related service/parts expenses. • Developed preventive maintenance plans and post-maintenance performance evaluation reports.
