As a student at The Ohio State University, I began as a biology major and slowly transitioned to the social sciences and public health as my love for health equity, health disparities, and my interest in solving worldly issues evolved. I am currently studying Sociology and Global Public Health, and have taken my skills outside of campus to Cape Town, South Africa through the university's organization, Buck-I-SERV. Throughout my experience here at Ohio State, I have been involved in various organizations such as College Mentors for Kids, The Girls Circle Project, Society of Sisters, and Women's Student Initiatives. I will be graduating next spring with my BA in Sociology, with every intention of going to graduate school to pursue my Masters in Public Health.
