About
Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Erik finished his K-12 education in local public schools. Before college, he spent a year abroad on a Rotary Club scholarship in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where he connected with his Latino roots. Since then, he has obtained an M.A. and PhD. in education, both from the University of Colorado Boulder. He owns and operates an innovative tutoring copmany in Boulder, Colorado where he specializes in integrating tutoring, relationship development, study techniques, and executive function.

I created a solution to integrate Human Resources and the Technology departments in an effort to make the onboarding process more efficient and prepare employees for the upcoming security audit. I'm most grateful for the opportunity to be constantly pushed beyond my comfort zone and learn new technological applications. Within a few short months, I've used Slack, TestRail, JIRA, and edited technical documents using GitHub Markdown.
