About

Over 22 years of experience in Administrative Leadership, 17 of which in Higher Education, with a proven record of accomplishment in relationship-oriented leadership, project management, faculty support and development, office management, event coordination, student worker program development, procurement management, and workload development. Strong organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills allow me to work and communicate effectively with various individuals regardless of field, title, or concentration. I thrive under pressure and enjoy problem-solving at any level. My decade of service in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves (2002–2013) laid the foundation for my strength in organizational operations, office management, and personnel leadership. As a Health Services Technician (2002–2011), I served as a primary healthcare provider to service members, performing annual physicals, administering sick calls, maintaining medical records, and ensuring quality assurance across clinical operations. This experience instilled in me a deep commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compassionate service under pressure. Transitioning to the role of Yeoman (2011–2013), I expanded my expertise into human resources and administrative operations. I managed personnel records, processed pay and benefits, coordinated reassignments and travel orders, and ensured compliance with Coast Guard policies and military law. These responsibilities sharpened my ability to interpret complex regulations, manage sensitive information, and maintain operational continuity in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Together, these dual roles, clinical and administrative, taught me to approach organizational management with both precision and empathy. The discipline, adaptability, and mission-focused mindset gained through military service continue to define my professional approach in operations, office administration, and personnel management today. As an ESFJ-T (“Consul”), I am guided by a deep sense of responsibility, organization, and service to others, qualities that have shaped every chapter of my professional life in higher education administration, medical and personnel operations, and military service. My career reflects a steadfast commitment to structure, collaboration, and care, ensuring that people and systems function together with precision and purpose.
