Over the past several years, I’ve worked hands-on in cybersecurity, helping identify risk, improve security posture, and support customers through issues that range from everyday misconfigurations to high-stress security incidents. That experience taught me something important early on: most security problems aren’t caused by a lack of intelligence or effort. They’re caused by complexity, unclear guidance, and technology that isn’t designed with real humans in mind. I’m passionate about making technology and cybersecurity more understandable, accessible, and practical. I enjoy translating technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance so people can make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed or talked down to. Security shouldn’t feel intimidating or exclusive. When it’s explained well, it becomes empowering. I also believe strongly in collaboration over competition. I don’t subscribe to the idea that one person’s success requires someone else to lose. In my experience, the best outcomes happen when people share knowledge, support one another, and build systems that help everyone move forward together. Today, that mindset shows up in how I work with customers, partners, and peers. Whether I’m advising on security posture, helping someone recover from an incident, or simply answering questions, my goal is the same: help others feel safer, more confident, and better equipped to grow.
