• Assesses and initiates care for up to 4 patients ranging in age from infant to adult on a 6-bed pediatric unit. • Implements nursing and medical interventions to pediatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses including asthma exacerbation, Kawasaki’s disease, and hyperbilirubinemia. • Offer care and support for up to four postpartum parent-baby couplets on a 28-bed LDRP unit. • Assist parents with feeding and skin-to-skin bonding and reinforce family education on infant care. • Adheres to "Baby-Friendly" hospital guidelines • Work closely to coordinate care with pediatric hospitalists, obstetric physicians, respiratory therapists, and lactation consultants.

• Managed care for up to 4 patients ranging in age from infant to adult on a busy 48-bed Pediatric Surgery & Transplant floor. • Coordinated treatment with doctors, social workers, case managers, nursing assistants, and other specialists. • Bestowed care to pediatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses including end-stage renal disease, hepatitis, malignancy, trauma, surgery recovery, seizures, fevers, and kidney, liver, and intestinal transplants. • Educated patients and families on disease-specific management, medications, and adverse effects.

• Provided care for up to 5 patients in a 22-bed pediatric emergency room certified as a Level 1 Trauma Center. • Performed nursing duties such as physical assessment, medication administration, IV insertion, blood draws, administration of blood products, education, task prioritization, and critical thinking. • Collaborated with fellow emergency room professionals during emergencies, traumas, and code situations.

• Administer COVID-19 vaccines and complete necessary documentation in Epic for eligible individuals ages 5 and up. • Draw up individual doses of Pfizer-BioNTech and Janssen's Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. • Conduct rapid and PCR testing on eligible individuals. • Support daily clinic operations.

• Conducted a comprehensive in-clinic exam for the Chronic Renal Insufficiency Cohort (CRIC) Study administering interviews, cognitive function, electrocardiograms, ankle-brachial index, anthropometry, and blood pressure tests. • Responsible for compiling and administering results for CRIC participants after their exam visits. • Conducted feasibility study, workflow, protocol, and support for testing fingerstick blood creatinine and at-home urine creatinine levels as an ancillary CRIC study. • Developed a study workflow recruiting 100 heart failure patients into the Torsemide Comparison with Furosemide for Management of Heart Failure (TRANSFORM-HF) Study, a randomized clinical trial investigating the efficacy of loop diuretics that was used by physicians, research nurses, and clinical research staff. • Collaborated with physicians, research nurses, and research staff to create a study workflow recruiting 100 heart failure participants into a randomized clinical trial studying the efficacy of loop diuretics.

• Conducted a comprehensive in-clinic exam administering interviews, pulmonary function, cognitive function, anthropometry, and blood pressure. • Completed 1,000 clinical exams in 52 weeks of data collection. • Served as the lead research assistant for the anthropometry and lung function exam components. • Oversaw the training and certification of other research assistants as well as conducting peer observations for recertification. • Responsible for requesting and administering reimbursement materials to participants after their exam visits.
