Hello! My name is Ella Castro, and I am a junior at Marquette University, majoring in Exercise Physiology as part of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. My passion for physical therapy stems from a desire to help people move better, feel stronger, and regain confidence in their bodies. I’ve learned how meaningful movement can be in both performance and recovery through both outpatient and performance settings. During my practicum at St. Camillus, I worked hands-on with older clients to design and guide individualized exercise programs, applying classroom concepts to real rehabilitation goals. That experience strengthened my clinical reasoning, communication, and ability to adapt quickly in any situation. I’m a natural leader who values feedback and uses it to learn and grow. I’m excited to continue developing my skills while making a positive impact on others' lives through physical therapy.
