I advised on global filing strategies and the registrability of marks. I have submitted arguments in support of the registrability of marks before EUIPO. I have experience in relation to prosecution work, co-existence agreements, oppositions, cancellation actions and searching. I have reviewed company name and trade mark watch results. I have prepared witness statements and been involved with general portfolio management. I have experience of online brand protection, including domain name and online content watches. I have filed a number of UDRP, DRS and URS complaints. I have been involved with the acquisition of domain names prior to the launch of new projects.

I completed modules in relation to both contentious and non-contentious aspects of trade mark law. I also completed a module in relation to designs and copyright law.

In third year, I completed a module in IP. In addition to this, my dissertation focussed on the effectiveness of unregistered design rights in the fashion sector. I considered the UK & EU position.
