As North America Tax Lead and process owner, I manage and govern customer master data across MDG, SAP, and Vertex for multiple legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. I review tax documentation to meet regulatory requirements, perform root cause analysis on customer master discrepancies, and process credit adjustments and corrected invoices to resolve taxation and billing issues. I also manage updates to the global customer master data file, handle a high volume of tax inquiries promptly, and oversee the end-to-end process of generating, reviewing, and posting monthly expiring tax exemption reports, proactively securing updated certificates. My work has been recognized with the NAM T Award for excellence in Customer Master and Customer Account setup for a new Services Sales organization.

I manage and resolve complex customer disputes related to shipments, returns, damages, tax, and billing discrepancies, adjusting invoices in SAP and updating tax exemption statuses in Sabrix to support collections and improve cash flow. I lead initiatives to streamline dispute resolution, recovering $3.2M in at-risk accounts and reducing dispute cycle time from 53 days to 3.5 days. By implementing process improvements and driving team performance, I achieved an 80% reduction in overall disputes, a 50% reduction in incoming tax disputes, and nearly eliminated aged open disputes. My work has been recognized with the CFO Award and the 3rd and 4th Quarter CEO Awards for leadership and measurable company impact. Completed a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology with a focus on the legal system at Walden University. This program provided advanced knowledge at the intersection of psychology, law, and criminal justice, emphasizing how psychological principles inform legal processes, decision-making, and system-wide outcomes.
