Women in Tech Cluj is an NGO empowering 2,500+ members through our core mission to Learn, Share, Support, and Empower women in technology. Through mentorship, awareness campaigns, and meetups, we provide the safe space and professional community needed to foster a more inclusive and innovative tech ecosystem.

.lumen builds glasses that empower the blind to live a better life. There are 40 million blind people today, and despite all the technological advancements, the most used mobility solutions are the walking cane and the guide dog. The guide dog is unanimously seen as a good option, but there are only 28,000 guide dogs to 40 million individuals with visual disabilities. .lumen offers a solution that mimics the benefits of a guide dog without the drawbacks that make it a non-scalable solution. My work includes: - Coordinating the internal Hardware team to build a product that does what an autonomous car does, but packed in something that can be worn on the head - Coordinating an external team of designers for initial product designs - Driving the product development by working alongside the external team of engineers for product requirements, DfM and UE - Developing, prototyping, testing & validating solutions in the following domains: anthropometry & ergonomics, manufacturing, optics, auditory & somatosensory systems, packaging - Growing the hardware team and fostering an environment where people can thrive, move fast and put their skills to good use - Activities ranging from project management, developing and implementing processes, prioritization and resource allocation to a hands-on approach - developing concepts and implementing technical solutions.

- Conducted Master’s Thesis: developed, modelled, and simulated a 4 DOF original concept used to adjust the position of projectors (Autodesk Inventor) with prototype construction. - Worked on several smaller projects of the company (mechanical design & rendering in Autodesk Inventor & Blender).

- Developed concepts using agile methodology, produced 3D designs, simulations, and technical drawings (Autodesk Inventor, 3Ds Max) while also activating as product owner. - Communicated with suppliers and manufacturers. - Delivered self-developed concepts to C-level audience.
