I was responsible for hiring youth within the community to provide lawn care services for elderly and disabled homeowners. Also, I prepared grant proposals. And I supervised the lawn care services that were provided for the city owned vacant residential and commercial properties.

Provide in-home intervention to children and their families utilizing a skill based, solution focused model to help families adopt positive solutions to problems through the teaching of skills and behavioral techniques accessing community resources and support. Manage a case-load of ten families. Develop and teach social skills group inside of inner city middle school.

I worked to ensure the safety of the teens that I supervised through positive and negative reinforcement. Also, I taught the juveniles independent living skills by providing structured activities.

I provide direct care in a non-secure detention placement for 6-7 inner city at-risk youth in a safe and caring family style living environment. Also, I work in conjunction with an assigned Family Teaching Couple, serve as an active member of the family home team. And guide and teach youth appropriate skills and behaviors.
