Setting up studio lighting, managing studio i.e appointments, client consultations, ordering etc. Senior File manager for graduation photography. Responsibilities include downloading and storing client files, preparation for online viewing & ordering, file editing and retouching, individual client file sorting, light checks ( testing photographer(s) exposure, lighting and studio set up ).

Dollface photography is continuously evolving. My aim is to photograph subjects from a fine art background, trying to capture a 'piece' as opposed to just a photograph. I try to view an image the same as I would any painting or textile piece I create, considering all elements to create one image that if needed could summarise the entire shoot or theme.

Responsibilities include lighting checks and studio set up for 5+ studios, examining photographer tests to ensure backdrops & exposure / lighting is correct before commencement. Retrieval of images at regular intervals throughout the day and downloading/organising to system storage.File editing and preparation for uploading to website and overall ensuring our high standards are met at all times including Image editing & order processing.

Specialising in Design in Textiles but including Modules in Paint, Sculpture, Print & Design, Art History, Photography & Dark Room processes (film). Multimedia Design, CAD, Adobe Photoshop Business Practices, Research tools & work flow, Design for Interiors, Colour study, Life Drawing.

Preparation and practices in order to create a full and concise body of work exploring paint, drawing, life drawing, colour studies, colour theory, analytical drawing, 3d exploration and experimentation.

My main body of work was based on combining Landscape photography with photographic studies of found textures such as peeling paint, distressed surfaces, nature i.e moss, litchen, wear caused my nature, and translating these combined studies into Textile Pieces for itnerior wall hangings. These pieces both large and smaller scale were made on hand dyed fabric including silk and natural fibres, with applique, embroidery, layering. dying, handstitch, surface distressing and alteration. Successfully held end of year exhibition as well as a solo exhibition of my work in The Town Hall Theatre as part of Project06 in Galway where a piece of my work was purchased by the wife of the current president of Ireland :). I was chosen to represent Textile Design at Cluain Mhuire at the yearly international Kitting & Stitching Show in the RDS in Dublin where i had an independant booth to show case and sell my work as well as answer any questions people had on my techniques, processes, project work.
