Divya Rupini Gunashekar

The University of Minnesota supports my academic research in public health informatics, where I focus on workforce trends, training needs, and building data literacy to address challenges in modern public health. My work emphasizes the intersection of public health practices, data modernization initiatives, and the evolving needs of informatics professionals. Previously, I contributed to Medicaid/Medi-Cal analytics at Partnership HealthPlan of California, specializing in data from claims, pharmacy and behavioral health. My expertise includes Medi-Cal, survey data analytics, statistical analysis, and addressing social determinants of health. My goal is to foster a responsive, data-centric public health informatics infrastructure across diverse health systems.
