Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience delivering utility-scale solar projects (2–30 MW) across the full lifecycle—from initial site screening and feasibility through consenting, tender design, detailed design, construction, and O&M. Experience to date includes ~10 MW of solar projects, with ongoing involvement in additional developments.I work across electrical, civil, and mechanical aspects of solar design, with a strong focus on PV layout optimisation and real-world buildability. My experience includes developing SLDs, cable sizing and routing, inverter and transformer placement, trenching design, and overall site layouts—ensuring designs are practical, efficient, and aligned with on-site constraints.I also bring hands-on construction experience building solar farms, giving me a solid understanding of installation methodologies, sequencing, and site challenges, which I incorporate directly into my design approach.A key focus of my role is PV modelling and performance optimisation using PVSyst, along with glint and glare analysis to support planning approvals and minimise environmental and visual impact. I regularly use AutoCAD, PVSyst, and ForgeSolar to produce clear, construction-ready designs, with working knowledge of ETAP.I’m passionate about renewable energy, continuous learning, and delivering projects that get built—contributing to decarbonisation and electrification.
