Responsible for Promoting Sales and Executing Consulting Projects • Used Optimization, morphing and CFD simulation to successfully perform HVAC duct shape optimization for an OEM that led to an improved HVAC design and acceptance of simulation process by customer. • Performed Evaporator Core Optimization and presented at the STAR-CD North American User Conference in May, 2006.

Responsible for implementing CFD and Thermal Simulation Solutions for GM Vehicle Programs • Developed CFD Methodology for Full Vehicle to consistently predict airflow through Cooling Package to within 5% of Wind Tunnel testing data leading to acceptance of simulation procedure for all vehicle programs in GM. • Worked closely with Design Engineers using thermal simulation methodology to expedite design verification, optimization and design release of thermal shielding solutions in vehicles. • Successfully improved Battery Packaging Design for Hybrid Vehicles leading to a DFSS Green Belt and pending patent application to improve battery cooling. • Mentored Engineers, Supervised Summer Interns, tutored Design Engineers for the GM Technical Education Program receiving high ratings (>4.75/5.00) and was an award winning ISO Compliance Coordinator for the Department.

Responsible for Contract Services to GM for Vehicle Simulations • Developed Brake Cooling Methodology that correlated within 2% of test data leading to wider use in GM and SAE publication. • Pioneered simulation application in Aero-Acoustics and Aerodynamics leading to acceptance of CFD solutions within GM and presentation at ESI Users Conference October, 1998, Lyons.

Consulting Services to Automotive Customers • First to successfully implement a structure/flow interaction model for A/C Compressor that correlated well with experiments. • Validated and developed combustion models and implemented them for in-cylinder moving valve and moving piston simulations

Supervise Student Research and Teach Graduate Level Courses • Developed CFD Solver AMPHIB used for Thermal Management of Electronic Components and published User Manual. • Successfully supervised Student Thesis and discharged teaching responsibilities.

• Thesis Work on Flow Transitions in Enclosure Flows • Research work led to several publications in journals and a very high citation number (> 160). • Best Presentation Award in Graduate Student Conference.
