Working with two A-Level students throughout the University year teaching content and exam-technique. After evaluating our knowledge and ability through an introductory session, we structure the limited lessons in two sections with the first session including interactive teaching and the later completing past papers questions relating to that topic. In this supportive learning atmosphere, we also learn critical exam techniques like time management and methods to use to keep calm and focused. My teaching methodology focuses on patterns and test knowledge with a heavy portion of the time being spent on answering past paper questions up until the student has that brainwave noticing all the questions are fundamentally the same. As University has finished, I've recently taken on a further two students whom are studying GCSE.

Main Projects: - Responsible for updating, maintaining & migrating the entire Ubiety platform from using config files to using our new Google Firebase solution. ( http://focalpointvr.com/ubiety-platform/ ) - Responsible for creating & maintaining our Unity Live-Streaming Event Mixer. - Responsible for updating & maintaining our Unity packed 360 video SDK. Other Projects: - Creating an Android Unity AR Project w/ the Volograms SDK. - Updating a multi-user VR experience project to become networked, removing VR controls & creating a tablet version allowing full experience control of all connected VR experience devices. I used to volunteer here since I was 14 years old and this is the place that started everything. I started with the fundamentals, learning to install Windows, performing updates and learning how to transfer programs and user data. I was then introduced to infected computers and shown how various anti-malware tools and rescue & recovery software could be used to remove viruses. Alongside software diagnostics, I was shown to how perform basic hardware diagnostics and how to replace basic components such as RAM and hard-disk drives. This was also the time where I was being supervised and shown how to build a brand new computer by purchasing individual parts and putting them together. Learning quickly through a great mentor, I was soon independent in software diagnosis & repairs carrying out multiple customer repairs daily. I was also independently building high-end i7 spec computers with the latest components with costs easily exceeding £700 per unit. A few months down the line, I was able to diagnose and replace more difficult laptop problems whether this is screen replacement, motherboard replacement or DC-Jack replacement. Within six months, I became an employee, gaining experience, listening to clients and recommending them laptops. Here I learnt the value of transparency, honesty and hard-work. My mentor did not allow me to cut any corners, quoting me the phrase "do a good job, the customer will share it with other three people, do a bad job and they will share it with at least 10." A wise man indeed with over 25 years industry experience that I will be forever grateful for.
