About
With over 30 years of work experience, I am a seasoned project director with a passion for delivering complex and challenging projects in the construction sector. I have a degree and strong background in civil engineering and have followed master's class in coastal engineering. I am currently working as a project director at BESIX, a global construction group, where I share their vision of excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. In my current role, I am the project director in charge of the construction of the Aramco Stadium Project in Dammam KSA, an iconic and fast track project to welcome the Asian Football Confederation game in 27. Previously, I was responsible for the construction of the H.H. Sheikh Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi, a prestigious project that showcases the cultural heritage and history of the UAE. Earlier I led the structural, external, and logistics packages of the Royal Atlantis Hotel and Residence in Dubai, a luxury resort and residential complex on the Palm Jumeirah. I was also in charge of the construction of a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant in Jebel Ali, Dubai, in joint venture with Acciona, a project that enhances the water security and sustainability of the region. In all past projects, I have demonstrated my skills in airports, stadium, ports and infrastructure, complex buildings and project management, as well as my ability to work with diverse and multidisciplinary teams, manage programme, risks and budgets, and ensure quality and safety standards.
