I work as an operations, maintenance and reliability, commissioning and energy conservation engineer. My specialty is troubleshooting difficult problems in building systems, such as HVAC and controls.

DavaRay, Inc. is a therapeutic medical device company in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We specialize in handheld near infrared light therapy devices used for home health care, physical therapy, podiatry, sports medicine and more. I am an inventor and entrepreneur. I spent most of my life wanting to follow through on one of my ideas for an invention that would make the world a better place. In 2006 I decided the time was right. I am now the President of DavaRay, Inc. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We design, develop, manufacture and distribute light therapy devices. Our first device to be cleared by the FDA is the Nanobeam 940. It has achieved instant success in home health care, physical therapy and sports medicine. The Nanobeam 940 has allowed people to reduce their pain levels and their consumption of prescription pain medicine. This to me is the most important thing I have done in my life.

Leader for 26 engineers. Performed all management duties and mentored new engineers. Used advanced troubleshooting techniques to solve difficult problems in facilities such as data centers and telecom buildings. Created and maintained reliability based maintenance programs with a focus on best life cycle cost and energy conservation.
