I am a healthcare IT professional specializing in EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Link, physician support, clinical workflow optimization, and healthcare systems security and compliance. In my role as a Physician Liaison and Epic professional, I work closely with providers, clinical staff, and operational leaders to improve the way technology supports patient care. My experience includes supporting Epic workflows, provider personalization, chart review environments, user access, managed access, external provider connectivity, system troubleshooting, and end-user education. I am passionate about helping physicians and clinical teams use Epic more efficiently while ensuring that access to sensitive patient information is secure, appropriate, and aligned with organizational policies. I am known for being enthusiastic, dependable, highly ethical, and committed to doing things correctly the first time. I take pride in building strong relationships with healthcare teams, resolving workflow challenges, and finding practical solutions that improve provider satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the overall patient-care experience. In addition to my healthcare IT background, I have experience in cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and PCI DSS compliance. This includes supporting compliance readiness, strengthening security controls, reducing organizational risk, and helping prepare environments for QSA assessments. My combined knowledge of healthcare technology and cybersecurity allows me to approach Epic systems with a strong focus on privacy, security, regulatory compliance, and risk management. My long-term goal is to continue advancing as an Epic and healthcare IT professional while expanding my expertise in healthcare cybersecurity, clinical informatics, system administration, compliance, and technology leadership.
