Danielle Martins
Director People Business Partner, Brazil @ Mastercard
About
Strategic HR leader with a proven track record driving Talent Management, Organizational Development, Change Management, Culture & Engagement, and Leadership Development across complex, global environments. At Mastercard, I am part of the Agile Global Talent Management team, where I lead enterprise-wide talent processes and provide strategic support in OD, Change Management, and Performance Management to advance people and business priorities. My role encompasses designing and delivering high-impact solutions that strengthen leadership capability and enable sustainable growth. Previously, as Director of Talent Management for Latin America and the Caribbean, I shaped and executed the region’s Talent and Succession strategy, drove Executive Coaching initiatives, and led Leadership Development programs across diverse markets. In parallel, I advised People Business Partners and senior leaders in Brazil on team effectiveness, change management, and organizational transformation. Prior to Mastercard, I spent nine years at Mondelez International in local and regional HR roles spanning HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, and Change Management. I spearheaded critical strategic projects—including the design and implementation of a new hybrid working model—leading cross-functional teams to reimagine the future workplace. As Senior Talent Management Lead Brazil, I drove cultural transformation, elevated leadership engagement, and strengthened the succession pipeline to accelerate business growth. Earlier in my career, I held HR Business Partner positions supporting Marketing, Strategy, and global corporate functions—including Finance, Legal, and Communications & Government Affairs in Brazil. Additionally, as Executive Manager at Michael Page Group, I led recruitment for senior commercial positions across Consumer Goods, Luxury, and Retail, building long-term partnerships and delivering talent solutions that drove client success. My career began at the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil (AMCHAM). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from Fundação Santo André, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus on People Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and the Cambridge First Certificate in English. I am fluent in English and Spanish, have intermediate proficiency in French, and am a native Portuguese speaker. Passionate about shaping inclusive cultures, developing leaders, and unlocking individual and organizational potential, I am energized by opportunities to help businesses thrive through their people.
