Investigates, analyzes, and determines the extent of Progressive's liability concerning loss or damages, and attempts to affect settlement with claimants. Handles losses involving two or less vehicles via inbound and outbound calls in a centralized Claims operation. Corresponds with and/or interviews, agents, police, witnesses, vendors, insureds or claimants to compile information. Coordinates services for customers in a manner designed to ease the burden of the claims process. Coordinates resolution of physical damage, rental and other associated coverage and liability issues. Assesses negligence across multiple states/jurisdictions and ensures compliance with regulations across multiple states. Makes determination and processes payment of claims within authority limits.

Primary objective is to negotiate accurate settlements with claimant carriers on personal auto and fixed property damage claims. Handle evaluation of property damage to personal autos to ensure claimant carrier demand is accurate. Negotiate on part replace vs repairs decision, parts usage, total loss vs repair, rental time, storage time. Assess fixed property damages to guardrails, electric poles, street signs, and other government owned properties. Adhere to all state specifications. Discuss liability with claimant carriers as needed. Write contentions for arbitration when settlement cannot be reached on liability or property damage disputes.

* Forecast call volume for multiple sites and provide staffing requirements. * Perform efficiency analysis on information output to identify improvement opportunities and devise and manage improvement plans. * Developed standardized reporting and partnered with other departments to target areas for improvement. * Provide training and technical support to call center supervisors with Ayaya CMS and GMT software. * Review flow and report on automated systems.
