Completed my (BA) Degree from Saint Martin's University in 1989. . I took a wide variety of business courses with and emphasis in Marketing. This degree was used in my continued twenty years of service as member in the United States Air Force.

Completed professional project: gathered data to determine best practices used by Big Ten Universities and Veterans Administration. Goal to develop a plan to improve university student veteran/military member support programs and increase retention. * Surveyed populations and entered data collected from surveys into statistical analysis program (SPSS) to determine validity of data. * Studied legal issues and ethics in planning. * Explored grant writing and fund raising fundamentals. * Worked as a team member learning coalition and collaborative skills preparing a Project Management plan.. * Expanded team work skills. Gathered data on a Lincoln neighborhood analyzing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT). Developed plan for neighborhood revitalization for Neighbor Works Organization. * Evaluated governmental environmental impact statements. Created presentation using Geographic Information System (GIS) program and Power Point software.
