Daniel Anghel

In my current role as Country Managing Partner of PwC Romania, I am leading a team of over 1000 professionals, across three lines of services: Assurance, Advisory and Tax, Legal&People. Since 2018 I've been coordinating Tax, Legal & People services. I also have global and regional leadership roles within PwC, being the Head of Global policy for indirect taxes, member of the Indirect Tax Global Strategy Council, Leader for Indirect Taxes in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and CEE Tax, Legal & People Investments Leader. Over the years, I have been been involved in a wide range of complex missions for multinational corporations and local companies, in a wide array of industries and has coordinated various impact studies. I have been constantly and actively involved in the consultations of the business environment with the government authorities, contributing to legislative projects with a major impact on the business environment in the tax field and to other projects regarding the broader regulatory framework for the investment environment, working to focus national policies in line with EU and OECD agenda. Currently I am the President of the Council of Foreign Investors (FIC).
