Preformed as a team member under supervision of nurse to provide direct care to critical patient population at a designated Level II Trauma Center. Responsibilities on the 18 bed unit included activities of daily living, intake and output measurement, assistance with personal hygiene, documentation of vital signs, blood product transportation, promotion of patient safety and environmental cleanliness, quality control checks, maintenance of medical and non-medical supplies, use of electronic patient care system, and other clerical functions.
