Dai Mizui

Dai Mizui is an associate at Nishimura & Asahi. He mainly advises on crypto-asset regulations, regulatory requirements for registration, blockchain-based token services, and online platform-based financial transactions (e.g., social lending and other crowdfunding). From 2020 to 2022, he was seconded to multiple fintech companies, where he engaged in a wide range of fintech matters involving venture finance（including venture debt）, financial regulations, and related matters ranging from banking and securities to payment regulations and AML/CFT/CPF requirements. He has written numerous articles, and spoken at many seminars and lectures, on subjects relevant to his practice areas. 暗号資産交換業者その他のブロックチェーンを用いてトークンビジネスを行う事業者、貸付型・不特型クラウドファンディング事業者など幅広くフィンテック領域を取扱う。2020年～2022年にはフィンテック企業への出向を通じて、金融レギュレーション、ベンチャーファイナンス（ベンチャーデットを含む）、証券、資金決済に関する規制、AML/CFT/CPF規制も対応した。 2012年京都大学法科大学院修了、2014年司法試験合格。2015年12月より弁護士法人淀屋橋・山上合同に所属し、2020年よりfintech企業へ出向。2021年より京都大学非常勤講師。2022年12月より西村あさひ法律事務所ファイナンスチームに所属。
