A key member of the specialist Business Risk Practice within a global Insurance Services Provider delivering risk management projects. The role also involved designing the Practice strategy, developing delivery tools and techniques, and developing tailored solutions to address client and prospect problems.

A key member of the specialist e-Solutions team within a UK Risk Consultancy leading project teams to deliver e-business risk management projects. The role also involved setting Service strategy, developing delivery tools and techniques, and client sales / marketing in the UK. Part of my role also included the development of specialist Revenue Stream Protection services for clients linking revenue to business continuity management.

The Underwriter responsible for development of a profitable insurance account for the company in Scotland. Whilst limited connections were in place, I was responsible for developing the account from a standing start to a revenue figure in excess of £ 500,000.I also provided asset protection, health and safety management and business continuity planning advisory services to a wide range of these commercial clients.

A key member of the new management team, I was responsible for developing the risk management function to review current client performance, develop new products and services, and develop formalised underwriting standards.

As a member of the UK underwriting team, I assisted senior underwriters in rating and accepting UK and International treaty reinsurance business. My key areas of responsibility were the preperation of underwriting reports and rate assessments for Insurance companies in the UK , Ireland And Japan.
