Design motivational, pre-college, self-esteem seminars/workshops to fit the diverse needs of underrepresented families. Provide academic advisement and practical techniques to the college admission process. Maintain continuous follow-up to prospective families regarding college matriculation. Build and support extensive relationships with community/community-based organizations. Conduct over 40 workshops, academic success seminars, conference and keynote presentations annually.

Developed and implemented multi-year strategic enrollment and outreach plans. Oversaw operational and fiscal management, including budget planning and resource allocation. Provided leadership and supervision for admissions team to enhance recruitment and yield initiatives.

I served as the principal leader to the Enrollment Management team in establishing an on-going, systematic program of assessment and evaluation essential to supporting the long-term strategic planning for student services. I was tasked to ensure that departmental assessment projects are meaningful, manageable, and provide quality information for decision-making and evaluations that speak to the value and impact our programs.

The mission of the Cultural Centers for Academic Excellence is to empower students as they navigate successful pathway though college in a way that honors, preserves and sustains diverse cultural value systems. Our programs, services, and mentoring promote the individual and academic advancement of our students in a culturally welcoming and dynamic environment. GOALS: ~To create community-centered environments and opportunities that stimulate learning and academic engagement. ~To assist students in leveraging the various academic and social resources and opportunities on campus. ~To facilitate cross cultural learning experiences across campus. ~To support identity development within a culturally-grounded framework.

Advised multiple student organizations to locate opportunities for student involvement, leadership, organizational philosophy, strategic planning, and event management within the campus community. Directed leadership development, community building, and advising for Black student population. Conducted programmatic assessment, budget oversight, staff supervision and evaluated student-learning outcomes.

Managed, scheduled, and traveled to secondary schools, community colleges, college fairs, and coordinated matriculation activities with staff, faculty, alumni, and current students in assigned territory Initiated new school visits, community organizations, and outreach programs for junior and senior high school students. Read, evaluated, and made admission decisions, which included reviewing academic background, calculating grades point averages, and correcting system problems.
