Corey Nathan

Started out as a stockbroker during the day going to a theatre conservatory at night, there's always been a combo of business and the arts. Grew up in the NY theatre scene as a producer and artistic director, even got on the boards myself here and there. Came out to L.A. to get into independent film and subsequently discovered a talent for putting teams together. In a round about way, that's how Nathan, McDowell & Rose, Inc. was born. We took our knack for putting production teams together in theatre and film and developed a business that helped boutique agencies essentially do the same thing. Over the years, we developed a niche in entertainment advertising, playing a key role in the formation of some of the best companies in the entire industry. At the same time, I can't shake my love for great theatre, film and storytelling in general. As Artistic Director of Epiphany Collaborations, we brought the work of writers such as Chekhov, Moliere, Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde to life. In recent years, I've discovered a love for the podcast medium. It's certainly a whole other platform to share stories with audiences, even if it's as unvarnished as interesting people having interesting conversations. It reminds me of being in the theatre in that I could be doing research, doing an actual interview, getting involved in the post-production, helping with promotion or even cleaning the toilets - I just love being around it.
