Connie Wan

Connie is Studio Director at Büro Ole Scheeren in Hong Kong and has extensive international experience in architecture and urban planning. Connie's expertise lies in creating impactful solutions for urban placemaking and sustainable living; including high-density TODs, super high-rise buildings, headquarter offices, arts and cultural venues, innovative mixed-use developments and luxury residential complexes. She displays valiance and has a strong reputation leading and steering multi-disciplinary teams - delivering high-calibre projects from concept through to construction. Connie has a number of notable projects and awards recognition in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and the Middle East - including winning the design of the 528-meter China Zun and Beijing CBD urban masterplan, winning and delivering Qianhai One Excellence mixed-use development, 442-meter Kingkey KK100 development, Xili TOD Integrated Transport Hub in Shenzhen and most recently winning the international design competition for the Citic Dongjiaotou mixed-use development, a luxury high-end residential led development in Shenzhen. In addition to working on the design consultants team, Connie also has experience working on the client side - developing Hong Kong’s tallest towers with Sun Hung Kai Properties - the 484-meter International Commerce Centre and 415-meter International Financial Centre Two. Along with project commitments, Connie oversees the company business development - building new work opportunities in Hong Kong, Asia Pacific and globally. Connie regularly participates at professional events like CTBUH and supports the academic development of architecture; frequently invited as guest critic for both international and local university programs, with a keen interest in the shaping of our built environment.
