Owned and operated the leasehold of a Boutique Inner city hotel in South Brisbane. Formerly known as the Terminus hotel, I transformed the hotel from a tired workers hotel to a "Go to" location pub to be seen with Nightclub / Entertainment after hours and a Bistraunt by day. We also converted 33 hotel rooms into an inner city backpacker resort/ hostel to sleep 80 people which provided a diverse mix of culture at the hotel. The Sly Fox was home to many concept nights including, The 'Live Lab" unearthing Brisbane's next live music talent, Hospitality Nights which drew crowds of 200 + every Tuesday night, Jug and pasta nights for backpackers and international travellers as well as the Hope street speakeasy supporting the nearby Performing arts complex and it's array of artists. The Fox as it is known today still provides many great nights for the Brisbane party folk, having gone through a major $4m makover in 2009.

Board Position for Queensland's largest Recruitment agency at the time. I had 5 direct reports and implemented the development of the company's fee for service business across 24 locations in Queensland.

Responsible for the Northern Australian Region incorpoarting 6 branches from Darwin in the Northern Territory to Maroochydore on the Sunshine coast.

Managed the Trades and Industrial Contract Labour business for JDA, a Global Mining & Resources recruitment business with offices in Papua New Guinea / Indonesia / Hong Kong & Shanghai. Developed the business and growth of over 500 % in first 12 months including opening two new office locations in Australia

I worked for Workpac for near on 4 years. It was a terrific time joiningg the company at a size of $60M and on departure , the company was turning over $220M. I held many roles including setting up two Greenfields offices for Workpac. They are a great organisation and have grown to become an iconic figure in the recruitment industry here in Australia with turnover in excess of $600m.

I commenced with USS as a Doorperson / Security supervisor at one of Brisbane's largest entertainment venues... I grew into the business and eventually became a partner. A few years on, I bought my business partners out and grew USS to a multi-state agency providing specialist security staff to hotels, clubs, bars, entertainment venues, events & concerts. The business supported 60 % of the market in South East Queensland at one stage. I developed a passion for hotels and I sold the business in 1992.
